ZNHIT1 is a component of the chromatin-remodeling SRCAP complex, which is composed of at least SRCAP, DMAP, RUVBL1, RUVBL2, ACTL6A, YEATS4, ACTR6 and ZNHIT1. ZNHIT1 may play a role in p53-mediated apoptosis induction.
